I have been trying to discover the windows version of ShutterCount to check my 7D mark II shutter count but afterwards 3 emails to Dire Studio, I have not received any answer. Their site shows the software for Mac and iPad. With no replies I am non certain what kind of support they give.
Can someone delight signal me to the windows link for ShutterCount? Is there whatsoever other software that will give me this count?
Thanks.

Download EOS Count and pay the $6. Unless of form between the last time its been asked and now there is an easier mode.
(gphoto2 if you want commandline, think at that place is a windows port, but, EOS Count is so much easier)

Re: 7D marking II software for shutter count.
Thank you all for your replies. Apparently Dire Studio no longer has the windows version. I was told Catechism has made it more difficult to become the shutter count on the 7D II. I likewise tried Canon EOS Digital Info and it didn't work with the 7D 2.

I mentioned this before but in this high tech globe what purpose does Canon have for hiding the shutter-counts on its Cameras.. information technology'southward not like they are low end and not expensive for the average user.. the least Canon could do is 'printing that magical push button' and include the shutter-count in its camera software.. DLSR's similar the 5dMkIV going for $3200US and the user can't even admission its shutter-count without either having to send information technology out to Catechism service and so they can make even more money off their consumers or 'leap thru hoops and do a tap trip the light fantastic' to find software online to access it..... baroque-- the almighty buck -- shame on Catechism..
and NO I am not trolling-- a long time exclusive Catechism user.. check my gear

No idea what you mean. I use gphoto all the time and shuttercount on a 7D2 is read just similar any other parameter. This was the readout from my 7D2 from my control line most 10,000 before the mirror shook itself apart. Shutter was replaced when the mirrorbox was and the photographic camera literally came back with 27 on the counter.

thought I was pretty clear.. estimate you didn't think so you're still 'jumping thru hoops' using afterwards-market unauthorized software when Canon could easily make it readily available congenital-in so you're proverb gphoto works for ALL Canon cameras including all DSLR's ??

Re: 7D mark Two software for shutter count.
I just read that gphoto is not for windows and EOSinfo is for Digic 3 and IV cameras. The 7D mark II is dual Digic 6.

Information technology is clear. I plug my camera to my Mac, blazon gphoto2 --get-config /main/condition/shuttercounter and up pops the shuttercount. Works for nearly cameras, pretty sure I tried a 400D as well as the 7D/7D2 on it.
And the info is readily bachelor, just read the usb port and talk to the camera. In that location is nothing untoward near the process, the shuttercount can be read quite easily.
Your issue is that no ane is bothering to proceed upwardly with software to read the shuttercount - probably considering at that place is very niggling demand. And Catechism can't be bothered either because....there is very footling demand equally demonstrated past the third political party guys!

I am currently using Dire Studio's ShutterCount for Windows. Information technology works in my Windows 10 64bit organisation. I bought information technology several years ago, specifically for my 7D 2, when they claimed it was supported. I don't know that they had withdrawn the Windows version. I think it'south because they can't get in piece of work for newer Canon cameras, like 80D, 5D iv etc..
